The past year has been a quiet one for the HMB's, but by no means have the boys been resting. Weber has been touring extensively with The Wiyos, while Beacco & Downing have been playing locally with The Blue Ribbon Boys and have recently teamed up with Lauren Ambrose & The Leisure Class, a 'hot jazz' and highly original jazz ensemble, which also includes the fine banjo stylings of Two Man Gentleman Band's Andy Bean. Downing has also taken up with King Wilkie on a few tours of late.

Touring and recording since 2003, The Hunger Mountain Boys have released four full-length albums, one 7 song 'EP', and a vinyl single on their own Old-Fi record lable. Their songwriting has won them national recognition, and their music has taken them from coast to coast, Canada, Europe and the UK. Their spirited performances of eclectic traditional American music as well as their own compositions have put them on stages with many roots-based artists from Taj Mahal to Doc Watson and Ralph Stanley to Kathy Mattea, among others. The Hunger Mountain Boys continue to tour internationally.
